This Privacy Policy explains how Diverse Digital Solution Inc. (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, handles personal data when you visit this website or contact us through it.
Our products have their own policies: Linghive’s privacy policy is published at linghive.com/legal/privacy, and LaneWhisk will have a dedicated policy published before its release.
Data we collect
Information you send us. When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, company name (optional), the topic you select and the content of your message, together with the date and time of submission and your IP address, which we use to protect the form from abuse. If you email us directly, we receive the information you include in your email.
Technical data. Our servers automatically record standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the date and time of the request. We use it to operate and secure the website.
Spam protection. To protect the contact form from automated abuse, we use your IP address to limit how many messages can be sent from the same address in a short time.
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking on this website.
How we use your data
- to reply to your request and to discuss a possible collaboration with you;
- to keep the website secure, prevent abuse and fix technical problems;
- to comply with our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for automated decision-making.
Legal basis
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we process your data because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and running a secure website, or to comply with a legal obligation.
Who we share data with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the website and handle your request:
- DigitalOcean. The website runs on a server provided by DigitalOcean, where the server logs described above are stored.
- Cloudflare. All traffic to this website passes through Cloudflare’s network, which delivers the pages and protects the website from attacks. Cloudflare processes this traffic, including your IP address, on our behalf. It also uses some of this data for its own purposes as an independent controller, for example to identify and block malicious activity, as described in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
- Google Workspace. Our email at [email protected], including messages from the contact form, is hosted by Google Workspace, which processes it on our behalf under its data processing terms.
- Mailtrap. Messages from the contact form are delivered to our mailbox through Mailtrap’s email sending service, which processes them on our behalf.
Providers that process data on our behalf may use it only to provide their services to us. Where a provider also processes data as an independent controller, its own privacy policy applies to that processing. We may also disclose data if required by law.
Processing outside Canada
We are based in Canada. Some of our providers process personal data in other countries:
- DigitalOcean hosts the server that runs this website, including its logs, in the United States.
- Cloudflare states that it primarily stores the information it collects in the United States and the European Economic Area and may access it from other countries where it operates. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
- Google Workspace may process and store our email in any country where Google or its subprocessors maintain facilities. See Google’s data center locations and the list of Google Workspace subprocessors.
- Mailtrap states that the data it processes may be transferred to and accessed in other countries, including the United States and the European Union. See Mailtrap’s privacy policy.
While your data is in another country, it is subject to the laws of that country and may be accessed by its courts, law enforcement and national security authorities. To learn more about how our providers process data outside Canada, email us at [email protected].
How long we keep data
We keep contact requests for as long as needed to handle them and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of follow-up questions, unless a longer period is required by law or you become our client. Server logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to receive a copy of it. To ask a question about your personal data or to request access to it, its correction or deletion, email us at [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
